This week’s change: Add One Yoga Class Weekly.
Level of Discomfort (10 being the most painful): 5
Why: Yoga isn’t just a bunch of ridiculously weird stretches, it’s also about breathing and clearing your mind… being in the present. It’s another opportunity for you to a new physical activity and some practice with breathing and quieting your mind. You don’t have to spend $150 a month on classes. Many yoga studios offer $5 (or free) community classes once a week.
My love for yoga has been a big surprise for me. I still only go to once class a week, but I practice a bit at home.
There are different styles of yoga. Don’t be disappointed right out of the gate. One size does not fit all. Keep trying classes until you find what you like and add yoga weekly.
