12 years ago my life radically changed when I learned the value of real nutrition delivered in the form of food – real food.  

It was September of 2007 and I had just left New Orleans after two years of Post-Katrina living. I was overweight, depressed, and a toxic mess from having lived in the chemical shitstorm that decimated 80% of my adopted city. Recovery was slow, fithy and painful.

I retreated to my hometown of Boston where my good friend and acupuncturist, Adrienne, took on the enormous project of cleaning up and detoxing my body after the multi-year onslaught of poisons.
