This week’s change: Make your bed daily

Why: This very simple task has a powerful influence over how the rest of your day goes. Crazy? Sounds it, huh? There are tons of articles on line about the power of making your bed. I’m only including one link here because really, it’s not rocket science.
I learned the power of making my bed when I moved to New Orleans and lived in a shotgun house. You had to pass through my bedroom to get to the bathroom and when I had guests, I didn’t want to appear to be a slob and not have my bed made.
To date, it’s still one of the best things I do daily. For me, there is nothing inviting or joyful about looking at an unmade bed.
The best part? Coming home at night and feeling like I’ve landed in an orderly and peaceful place, regardless of how stressful my day was.
Potential Positive Outcomes: Feelings of order, success and a general sense of overall well being.
